I've been messing around with Wagotabi (game for Japanese learning) a little this week. I heard about it here on Lemmy (I think in this community?), and it just released the Steam version. It's still rough around the edges in spots. But as far as education games go, it seems to have the right direction.
This gave me an idea of making a post gathering up such recommendations and linking the post in the sidebar, but not sure if we have enough traction yet for that.
Gamifying learning is a really powerful tool!
That sounds promising. Could be a big project, if the scope is to build lists of resources for all sorts of different languages. I think it'd be useful though!
True, and probably it's going to live a lot and change over time. Need to give this a bit of thought once I have bit more free time!
I see a lot of useful resources posted to these weekly threads and I love that you guys are giving them your own personal reviews.
