Edit: Okay I was looking for ideas, but you guys are all shambles.

< 3m cables: I wrap them into a neat circle and put them in several cardboard boxes sorted by function/extension (e.g. USB-A, USB-C, Power+Kettle).
- 1 extra box for miscellaneous types (e.g. a USB-C to USB-A would go in there)
- All the boxes go into a single drawer.
For long cables: I wrap them into large neat circles and then they all go into the same tote bag hanging under the stairs
