They had been seeking more than $31bn in damages.

The class action lawsuit, covering about 98 million Google users and 174 million devices, was filed in July 2020.

'We are, obviously, very pleased with the verdict the jury returned,” said David Boies, an attorney for the users who sued.

Lmao of course the lawyer is pleased, they get a good chunk of that money while the actual users get a couple of bucks. And it's just pennies for Google, cost of doing business.
