I know it has been 24 years but it is still too soon for me to like 9/11 jokes.

Worked in NYC at the time and had to keep going back after the towers fell.

My dad was in midtown that day, said his most vivid recollection was seeing fighter jets flying over 5th ave. I just feel lucky he was ok, I know of too many people from my community that can’t say the same.

For me, I can laugh at a stupid joke, but I definitely don’t make any around here in NJ for that reason.

My coworker's brother worked in a restaurant near the top floor of one of the towers. He unsuccessfully tried to contact his brother all day.
