I always laugh at "radical leftist". I want actual examples or policies. I can give radical right wing examples and policies all day.
same, most policies in the US are center right if not outright moderate or far right.
Reminds me of soil. You need depth for your roots. People like you can be tall and strong but you still need a healthy substrate.
Other people are like weeds and can thrive in nutrient starved dirt. And they make the soil worse so that good people are stressed and pressured into dying off.
Weeds actually improve soil though, when they die and break down they provide what wasn't there before for the next round of plants. They are pioneer plants.
This metaphor is getting too good
