The home appliance industry would like you to believe that gas-burning stoves are not a risk to your health -- and several companies that make the devices are scrambling to erase their prior acknowledgements that they are.

Ban all gas stove hookups! Use induction cooking instead!

My oven/stove died recently and I couldn’t convince my landlord to go induction since it’s like twice as expensive as traditional glass top.

Ah that makes sense as to why there isn’t subsidies and programs for installing electric stoves. In Nanaimo new gas heating hookups are banned.
