But I also barely remember the show at this point.

You should start rewatching it as weekly episodes/doubles and by the time you finish well probably have new Stargate show.

They had a hmmm some sort of script/screenplay but then the strikes/pandemic hit a few years ago. Most of the old cast would be ready to come back and the creators are looking to make it and almost had it in pre-production.

So yeah prolly gonna come back at some point
