Get some copper pipe and cut them in 25mm sections with a hacksaw. Predrill pilot holes into the studs and through the heat shield.
Using some lag bolts secure the shield to the wall with the pipe as a standoff.
The amount of thermal transfer from the bolts is not enough to be a concern.
