Isn't tiktok a chinese asset? And hasn't china famously refused to dance to Trump's discordant tune?
Trump is forcing them to sell their American operations to American owners or be blocked from operating in the US.
I can't find it now, but I'm sure I saw a post earlier that said there was a bunch of Saudi money going into the sale.
