8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

So, if I'm reading this right, the the government of Broadview is mad at ICE for constructing a fence that blocks the sidewalk and forces pedestrians to walk in the street, but also put up even more barriers to corral anti-ICE protesters, and then Broadview and Illinois state troopers arrested a bunch of protesters but didn't try to arrest any of the ICE goons who assaulted protesters in the middle of all this.
And then there's this little moment
Maybe try not being a total fucking disgrace next time, hm?
You know what the difference between these two are?
a) A fascist does fascist things
b) Someone does fascist things but feels bad about it.
Answer: Absolutely nothing. Reality isn't affected by what you feel. It's affected by what you do.
But the one that feels bad is easier to pressure into changing what they do than the other one. There is what is happening now and what can happen later. It is useful to consider both.
Goes to show you should focus your energy on the ones that signed up to be Gestapo.
Sounds like they should focus on the state trooper gestapo, if they're starting to get demoralized that's a weak point in the fascist wall that can be broken open
