All of the “hostages” are really prisoners of war, everyone currently in Hamas captivity was an active duty IDF soldier captured from military bases in Israel or taken captive while in Gaza as they were committing genocide.

How do you figure this? Here is an article from just yesterday about Bipin Joshi, a Nepali student abducted by Hamas on Oct 7, 2023.

The Nepali student is very likely dead and buried in an Israeli mass grave or under rubble unfortunately. All of the foreign workers were released in January.
