MODERATORS

Regardless of what prompted the scheduling of the celebration, the optics of this is truly atrocious for the team. Surely they could have delayed for a couple of minutes until Piastri finished his interview? Or did they just forget about him? You know, the current championship leader who is driving for your team?

Oscar casually noticing the team is celebrating the WCC without him as he's doing media pen duties is like a scene straight out of The Office.

The move was decisive, with Norris reducing Piastri's title lead to three points.

Cโ€™mon, ESPN. It reduced Piastriโ€™s lead by three points. Itโ€™s still a 22 point lead.

AI slop? Wouldn't surprise me.

Possibly. Or just sloppy editing. I get the feeling ESPN doesnโ€™t actually give a shit about F1 but know they ought to cover it or theyโ€™re leaving money on the table.

Interestingly enough, I actually prefer ESPN's highlight videos on YouTube to the official F1 highlights. They're longer and include a lot more additional context to everything that happened instead of just quick cuts of the passes, incidents, etc.
