Question of the day: When you take the old sheets off the bed do you refer to that as "stripping"? As in I've stripped the bed ready for the new sheets to go on later or do you call it something else or never thought about it.

Fuck I think that's the 3rd time I've edited my spelling.

When I crash at a friends I ask if they want me to strip or make the bed.

That’s when you go to put the fitted sheet on without checking where the label is lol

Hate it when the bed ends up cooked.

I'd say stripped the sheets if I haven't put new sheets on the bed yet, once I've remade it I'd say I changed the sheets.

Always been taking the sheets off for me.

Yep, have always called it stripping the bed..

I call it "stripping". I suppose "changed the bed sheets" works as well, but I use "strip/stripping" 99% of the time.

Yeah I strip the bed and then with fresh linen I make the bed. (Though that’s meant to refer to putting it back in order in the morning. Maybe it should be make up the bed.) Or I simply ‘change the sheets/bedding’
