Some churches use actual bread? Here all we got were some thin wafer hosts.

Eastern Orthodox Churches (and some others) use leavened bread while Catholic Church mainly uses unleavened bread.

In my home village the bread was baked by some of the old ladies in the village and we used local wine.

cult i grew up in used wonderbread (unless it was my turn to bring it, and i worked right next door to the best bakery)
