I'd keep “trump” (lower case, without any reference to where it came from) as a certain general use word, though.
By the way, I'm writing this in the toilet, while dropping a massive stinking trump.
I instigated a transatlantic Cockney rhyming slang version. In Cockney the rhyme is usually the word that's missing, so you just have to know what it means.
For example:

British person here. In Britain a trump is an extremely smelly fart:
"Pfwoaaah that reeks! Who fackin trumped in ere?"
