Well, we'll always need some sort of "ruling class" but they should not have more power than needed so a system with compromises seems to be the best one IMO, like German/Scandinavian ones.

We don’t need a ruling “class.” This means money. We need elected leaders with short terms and fair elections. I giggled typing that, because it’s never gonna happen

Yep, I mean what should we do with politicians if they expire after say 8 years? They're good for nothing.
