Stargate wouldn't be C4, it would be a Zat'nik'tel.

  • one shot stuns
  • two shots kill
  • three shots vaporizes

Full credit to Shanks for asking the important questions how badly designed a plot device it is. "How long between shots does it reset on the same target?"

It's an electric current. So it would be as long as the charge is still present. If it wears off, it resets
