3D printed meat doesn't exist at the scale necessary for Campbell's. Not sure what that idiot was on about...
I can't believe anyone, much less a VP at Campbell's would be dumb enough to believe or say that.
All the companies experimenting with this are tiny startups, nobody at the size of Campbell's.

It's probably reconstituted meat, but because he's probably just some moron with an MBA, he doesn't actually know what that means. He's also a fucking moron for not realizing poor people don't buy Campbells because it's shit and twice the price of store brand soups. Their market is just middle class people who want to keep up appearances.
Or, people like me who grew up on it and buy it because it's something we always had in the house.
It's also good as an ingredient in other recipes.
Orbyou van buy the store brand for half the price even though it vomes grom the exact same production line. You're literally throwing money away because they advertised to you as a child
Yeah, that's what I figured he meant too. I mean it's sorta 3d printed, and definitely gross, so points to him ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
When you pay someone 10000 salaries for providing little to no actual value to the company as a whole, it's inevitable that they'll begin to chase unrealistic bullshit, because that's what their entire life consists of. They literally didn't have a single thought grounded in reality
Having heard the audio, I think it's pretty clear he was probably making a hyperbolic statement about genetically engineered meat. It was something so the effect of "No I don't wanna eat it after learning what they put in there. [Lists a few things, including GMO meat.] I don't wanna eat bioengineered meat from a 3d printer!" I don't think he believes the meat comes from a 3d printer. I do believe he doesn't trust the meat (for whatever reasons I'm addition to being GMO). But I really really doubt he believes it's 3d printed. I think it was sarcasm.
