Hey dnb hedz. Producer here. Really just seeing if I could get some feedback on this new idea. Thanks and keep on head banging d( '_')b

EDIT: Sorry it's a bit late, the changes weren't too challenging, just got caught up with other things, but if anyone is curious, I have uploaded the new version and adjusted the link. If you commented previously, please take another look and let me know if this is better.

Thanks for the detailed timestamped feedback. I think I agree with most of your points and I just wanted to offer you clarification (and thanks because I never considered the use of AI imagery would lead to people thinking the music was AI, but that makes perfect sense). None of the music is AI, it's all just audio. I primarily work with Audio and maybe use a MIDI track rarely, this track there are none which is typical. Either it's a one-shot sample or a loop and it's either placed as is and simply balanced or rearranged/chopped/reversed/etc.. insert whatever manipulation I employed at the time. The vocal itself was just a loop and it hasnt been rearranged, but it's been repitched and fed through a plugin which is why it bends pitch and formants throughout the track.

Mixing is very light on this track, partly because I do a lot of mixing things after arrangement, but also because it doesn't need much. I haven't car tested yet and that's my sub proving ground, if you will, so I was afraid of the main bass not being enough because I didn't add a sub layer, but again I need to car test for my verification. I definitely agree about the part at 1:20, it feels kinda janky and I haven't played with that part a lot, just kinda moved past. I'll take some time though and find what might flow better.

As for the drop energy, I felt like it flowed well, but I'm hearing the same thing from you and another commenter, so I will look into adjusting that, but I think if I address a potential sub problem with the primary bass line, which is sort of a syncopated pluck pattern, it would sound different, and I'm torn with my kick here, the tone is perfect, but the punch and the envelope are weak, especially for drum and bass.

Thanks though for the feedback, I will address these things later tonight after I handle what I need to today. If you're interested I'll probably update this thread before the holiday unless these fixes prove more challenging than I anticipate.
