I always come across these things that would make a time traveller pause. You would think everyone in an era is as basic as the others, but there's always this one group who pushed the package in their time.

There's this fun thing with colloquialisms where you can alter them with synonyms. Have a shot maybe!

There's this fun thing with multi-lingual environments where non-standard language may not be intentional, and some people will even go so far as to expand a complete stranger's vocabulary in a different language. Now, if this was intentional, have at it.
