Hell is something wicked people create for themselves. You burn for eternity because you’ve rejected a model of life that doesn’t involve tormenting other people for your own satisfaction and surrounded yourself with people who feel the same way.

Or if we are talking about Christianity, you also go there if you are an apostate. And since I have not believed in the Bible since I was 7 I would also be heading down there.

This is an interpretation often pushed as the only answer by particular sects but it's not accurate to say that every Christian sect. believes this. Belief as a prerequisite to heaven is not universally held amongst all Christian sects.
