the U.S. House passed a bill that would make doctors and parents criminals... It now goes to the Senate, where it is unlikely to pass.

The news is very bad, but its never quite as bad as the headline wants you to believe.

Yep. Lots of things pass the House, and very few manage to get through the Senate. And I find it unlikely that this would be the thing they kill the filibuster over
