That overlap isn’t between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party.

It is overlap between individual democrats like Manchin, Sinema, Fetterman etc. and the Republican Party.

I would like to fully agree but they always seem to find enough slips to pass some egregious bills through.

Situations like the Panama papers and the Epstein files have shown us that the rich and powerful that own our politicians have people killed to get their way.

What you’re describing is the rich and powerful influencing individual politicians to get legislation they want. Not and agreement between all members of the Democratic Party.

Are you talking specifically about non-financial social issues specifically? Because yes, you're right, there's a huge divide. But when it comes to politicians furthering their own career they both run pretty much the same - taking donations and bribes via lobbying.

Do you also believe that only the congresspeople retiring this year voted to end the government shutdown?
