Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

‘If you allow transgender women into women's bathrooms, it will be a loophole for predators’
Wasn't one of the arguements made by ammosexuals about gun control was that we shouldn't have gun control cause criminals won't follow the law therefore was no point?
Btw, that issue is a bit weird, because my long-standing (and rather obvious) view is that US conservatives are economically lax but socially repressive, while dems are the other way around — both corresponding to collectivist tendencies, but in different areas. Well, guns don't strictly fall into any one of those approaches, since you can't really allow having guns just for one's own enjoyment in the privacy of their home or at the nearest shooting range. Conservatives should forbid guns based on their restriction of individual expression, while dems should forbid guns according to the view that not everything that can be bought is beneficial toward other people. Or vice versa, conservatives allow guns based on economic laissez-faire, while dems allow them based on an individual's freedom to do as they wish with their own life.
