Hello, can we speak?

We are seeing more and more Lemmy.ca users being banned for speaking out

Do you mind pointing out specific cases where a ban was unjustified? When I look at the modlog (which is accessible to everyone) I only see one recent ban that could be related by one of our admins, and the reason was "inciting violence". We can review further if it was a mistake.

If there were bans by other admins or moderators in other communities outside of lemmy.ca, it's not in our jurisdiction so you'd have to take it with the mods of these communities or admins of these instances.
