How are people supposed to notice that you got the money for plastic surgery if the surgery is so good that people wouldn’t notice?

Somehow this reminds me of the Demons in Frieren the Slayer.

Even though suppressing their mana output at rest would be tactically better, because it would allow surprising enemies in fights, they can't do that because they use the display of mana to signal status in the demon hierarchy.

Sorry if that was cringe to bring up. I'm hoping at least some readers will be familiar and find the comparison funny.
