My friends MILs last conscious experience was screaming for her deceased parents in the hospital while vomiting and shitting blood (cancer).

By all accounts she was a wonderful human. I hope Don the Diddler experiences this and much, much more.

My grandfather went out via MAID and I'm proud that he had the choice to go out with dignity.

I'm not sure of that MILs politics but I am sure at that moment she'd have understood the necessity of the program.
