For those of you who don’t know, “I love you 3,000” is a quote from Avengers: Endgame. It’s particularly adorable because it’s said by a little girl, and three thousand is probably the largest number she can imagine.
Thank you for providing additional context. I didn't know that one. But why did she say a number at all?
Why? Just a little kid being a kid.
She had said something like “I love you two hundred” to her mom, and her dad was joking with mom about it.
Is it something to do with "I love you 4ever" "I love you 5ever"?
It's one upping.
I love you
I love you two
I love you three thousand (that number's too big, can't beat that one)
I remember hearing people say that as a child. I thought it was just a parent/kid thing.
