What happened? We had a tornado hit nearby last night so no power or home internet to watch this morningโs session.
Either he decided he didnโt want to t-bone Piastri who had just crashed and parked his car in the proverbial wall or he had a similar slip as Piastri and crashed. Having seen how much he breaked, I think itโs the first.

He slid off the track and into the wall, gripping the wheel during the collision.
He avoided hitting Piastri, who had already crashed, the only way he could, by hitting the wall. It was hard to watch, you knew it was coming watching on tv, but Ricciardo couldn't see until it was too late.
