Rewatched Matilda (1996) for the first time since childhood. The movie has held up, Danny DeVito directing and starring in it was refreshing since my young adulthood has associated him with his tv show IASIP.
Also, the scene where Bruce Bogtrot has to eat a whole chocolate cake in front of his peers unlocked a childhood trauma of seeing that scene for the first time.
