I had a 26-month long migraine... What med? I tried four different triptans, indomethacin, gabapentin, qulipta, Botox... (So much Botox!)
I'm on Amytriptoline. It seems though, that migraine meds varying a lot in their effects on different people. I know a couple of people who tried it with ilttle effect.
Oh yeah, I tried that too! That was actually one of the first ones they gave me.
did you see a neurologist for that migraine, 26months is very long time. i started getting ocular and minor temple migraine after showering one year, it was wierd. it has consistently showed up since almost always on the right side of my head. i also get scintillating scotoma(the constant flickering) that fans out of your field of vision.
I saw three different neurologists! I had a spinal tap done too, and a bunch of tests involving a VR headset. My neurologist was not great. Basically assessed that I wasn't having a stroke and then lost interest.
