Luke warm take: celebrating suffering of others is non-political. When you dislike someone strong enough (and you're not, like, a committed buddhist or smth) you're gonna, its only human.
Personally someone gleefully gloating is kind of a turn off though. I prefer my gloats with a touch of shame and self-consciousness 🤷♀️
I agree with you in most situations, but there are exceptions.
I value this take.
If you want to celebrate that Obama, the Hamburgler, or some random celebrity died... You should.
People were mourning Matthew Perry and yet a few weeks before his death, his tell all book was full of red flag material.
