Rice Cakes (the circular ones)

They're regularly $3.49 Canadian now... that's absurd. It has one ingredient, rice. Rice isn't that expensive, and it doesn't even use very much of it.

They're not even difficult to produce, the machine to make them is only a few thousand dollars and I'm seriously considering buying one from South Korea at this point.

There are a couple different round rice cakes, but you can actually make a really good quick rice cake in the microwave relatively easily.

Ahh, yeah those need a machine. I'm sure you could get one, but I don't know if your neighbors would appreciate it. The ones I've seen the vendors use are pretty loud.

Luckily my neighbors aren't close. They do seem to be noisy, the motors to pull a vacuum then explosively re-pressurizing isn't quiet.
