My wife has always told me that women really just want a guy who is nice to them and doesn't smell, and monosphere weirdos keep telling them to do the opposite.

I’ve read my fair share of romance novels by women and it’s common to describe the main love interest as smelling like freshly clean laundry lol. Literally just show up clean with clean clothes on. It’s not more complicated than that.
