1) Be nice and; have funDoxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, toxicity and dog-whistling are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Please familiarize yourself with them

2) All posts must end with a '?'This is sort of like Jeopardy. Please phrase all post titles in the form of a proper question ending with ?

4) NSFW is okay, within reasonJust remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either !asklemmyafterdark@lemmy.world or !asklemmynsfw@lemmynsfw.com. NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].

5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions. If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email info@lemmy.world. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.

I heard that back in the days, people used to just go when their work was done on the farms and there was no concept of 9-5 (these days seem 24 hours work). There used to be a lot of holidays. Is that true? If it is, then given the abundance in technology, why our work hours increased and why do we have such weird lives that we live to work?

I have full confidence in your generation! Things are quite difficult in some ways right now, but I sense that in a few more years, your generation will make some very beneficial changes to the ways societies are set up. Many changes for the much better are coming ✅

Very few people I met who do not mock our generation. Otherwise everyone older than us seems to look down on our generation.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Honestly, there's so much chatbot crap floating around, it's hard for some people to know the truth. In the depth of your heart, I'm sure that you can sense that what you've said isn't true. Gen Z is dearly loved, and deeply appreciated, that's the truth.

I have faced these types of comments from my teachers in university who will say to us that your generation is lazy, not respecting, AI dependent, and often confuse us with Gen Alpha.

Not all teachers are cool. When you want to know the truth, take the time to sense it within yourself. Despite all of the negativity in this world, your generation is full of light, and will continually add their light in many beautiful ways to the future that we'll all share.

The weak-minded often punch things that they don't understand. There's nothing wrong with Gen-Z that life experience won't eventually fix...

Just like it was with every single human of every single generation in history.
