Why hasn't sh.itjust.works changed to a better domain? (sh.itjust.works)

The current domain is basically invisible to search engines. sh.itjust.works is too long, the .works TLD isn't SEO-friendly, and the "sh." subdomain doesn't add value. Why not use something shorter like itjustworks.com or itjustworks.org instead?

Is this deliberate? Would appreciate if an admin could explain the reason.

You think a lemmy server is going to get on google's front page because the TLD changed to .org?

What made you think I use Google Search as an engine? My point is that the domain name is long. It doesn't matter whether it's .org or something else. shorter domain name would be better, in my opinion.
