So the right wing media will make a big deal out of any findings, which will probably have some corruption uncovered but of the vanilla, boilerplate variety everyone does in DC, the conservative base will get frothy over it, the libs will Nothingburger it, everyone else will see it as more “both parties are corrupt” background noise, impeached in the house, senate acquits.

Yes, please don't mistake me for someone who believes this is effectual governing. It's a funny development and I can imagine the tears on @Civility@hexbear.net 's face when impeachment is as traditional as being sworn in
