I went for a short walk this morning, forgetting to put my watch on.

When I got home and looked on Health on my phone I’d done around 2100 steps.

I go to put my watch on and 2 things happen:

Health on my phone drops the step count to 1400 (ish)
My watch never syncs the steps back on to itself. It’s still sitting at 78 and the app on my phone is at 1528.

What is going on here? I thought the watch and the phone were meant to intelligently merge?

In point 2 - the app on your phone, is this health? As far as I’m aware, nothing is going to sync back onto your watch on fitness if you haven’t been wearing your watch
