That’s a shame. For me Face ID is the best feature on iPhone compared to other phones.

If your purchase wasn’t advertised as Face ID not working is return it.

Whatever fits in with your life and depending on how long the battery lasts. For eg I don’t sleep track so I charge mine to full every night, but you may want to charge it while you have a shower and coffee in the morning if you want to check your sleep out.

You’ll get steps in the Health app but you won’t get your rings in fitness and unbelievably nothing will transfer back to your watch, that’s a one way street.

I don’t wear it at night. I sometimes only put it on for my first walk of the day so if not before work then lunchtime. I also like to wear a normal watch occasionally to go out or to the office etc

I do, nothing special, a couple of Tissot’s and a Seiko. It would be better if the AW would actually communicate 2 ways with the phone as I still do steps with one of my other watches on and phone in my pocket. I think it’s absolutely rubbish that the steps, distance etc the phone records don’t sync back to the watch.

Clearly your wrist is too big for the Ultra so trying to size it down a bit

Gmail, Google Maps, Spotify

TBH I like the Apple Music app better but Spotify works better for me for music discovery, play a track radio etc.

Google Maps. Maybe ingrained but I have a car with built in Google Maps now and if I search a route on my phone there it is on my car.

I have one and quite like it but honestly it’s overrated and overpriced.

Not the worst fit I’ve seen on here 😂

Yep it’s terrible. Try to swipe back a few times, realise the app doesn’t support it and then have to go 2 handed to reach the top left.

Really should be system wide as there’s no cue to say it’s going to work or not.

Left to right swiping for widgets and full screen widgets

I’d take the iPad and keep my iPhone 14 Pro

I went for a short walk this morning, forgetting to put my watch on.

When I got home and looked on Health on my phone I’d done around 2100 steps.

I go to put my watch on and 2 things happen:

  1. Health on my phone drops the step count to 1400 (ish)

  2. My watch never syncs the steps back on to itself. It’s still sitting at 78 and the app on my phone is at 1528.

What is going on here? I thought the watch and the phone were meant to intelligently merge?
