There have been two “proven” players he has used to fill holes. Sweat, and DJ Moore.

Did Lucas Patrick fill a hole? Was he proven? Have his choices in the secondary really moved the needle? How would you rate the signing and money for Edmunds now that we’ve seen half a season of non-performance? What did Chase Claypool prove?

A broken clock is right twice a day. That aligns with the moves Poles had made. Otherwise you don’t get credit for creating holes and replacing them with less impactful talent.
