As others have already said, what you're wanting to do is insurance fraud and it is illegal. Punishments likely vary based on the jurisdiction.
I get it - losing something that expensive sucks. It's also a life lesson: either we need to be better at taking care of our stuff or, assuming you're near perfect at being responsible, recognize that sometime shit happens and we just have to deal with it.
