Is the series 9 worth it for someone who doesn’t have a smart watch? (alien.top)

I am looking to get an Apple Watch and I can’t decide whether or not to get the series 8 (or lower) vs the 9. The older series are much cheaper but the series 9 with the finger tap looks super cool, and I like that it’s much brighter. I was wondering what this sub would think.

I know I’ll use it a lot regardless of which version I get. The series 9 features are just tempting to me.

I really like my S9. I upgraded from an S8. I didn’t need to, but I was switching carriers and getting the 15PM. So I figured why not? I’m enjoying using the double tap. I bartend so my hands are not always free or clean. So double tap comes in handy when looking at notifications or text messages. You can scroll thru and dismiss some notifications and texts. it also allows you to respond to text messages. Plus the battery life on the S9 is a lot better than my S8.
