He is a bad coach but he just doesn't want to say whether or not Fields is playing. It's weird to me that everyone is freaking out about it. The Chicago sports media has a weird sense of entitlement.

Belichick gets away with it because he's competent at every other part of his job and has won a bunch of championships. Eberflus has not, so he gets zero leeway.
