What are my options to access my video files from my Macbook or PC Dekstop? (alien.top)

The simpler/easier the method is the better, I don't need any fancy features, I just want to be able to view the video files I have stored on a specific folder whether it's on my macbook or pc.

Movies app or iTunes on PC if the files are MP4. VLC if something else.
