Shouldn't all fans WANT him to succeed? Now believing he will or not is a different story
Seems like a decent chunk of people would rather hate to say they were right, I just want to root for my team
thanks, twitter
Some of those people hating on him actually wanted him to succeed but flipped the switch just to go with some rant flow on this sub. They aren’t true fans, just emotional dolls.
Regardless of where you fall, the answer is yes because even if you want the team to move on, Fields playing well only increases his trade value.
Totally agree. The only reason to want to see Fields fail the ROS, is to “be right” or to justify the move on approach. Chances are, he will continue to play well in streaks and we will never know what could have been.
I'm indifferent at this point. He is right on the far end of possibly becoming a boom. Mpst signs point to him being a bust, just like every other qb we've ever had. Why care? If he does great, the great! If he's trash, then whatever, he will just be another name in the long list of bad Bears qb's. At this point I don't expect anything other than garbage from this franchise with the occasional playoff appearance that was entirely dependent on the defense they always seem to be able to put together every 5-7 years or so.
