If we're going to tank the season anyway, isn't a game where the bears both demonstrated an ability to keep pace with one of the better teams in the league and also won a greater chance at a better draft pick the optimal result? It's not easy to show flashes of competency and skill and also game the draft system. Also, as a side benefit, the team is getting a lot of attention as they are finding more creative and entertaining ways to lose with gusto.
