Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

mixed thoughts on jreg from what I have heard of him but this is one of the deepest cuts I've been served in a while, this man is reaching through the screen and shaking me to make the point stick walter-shock

tl;dw: actively invest in making your art and artistic process more communal (as in organizing and talking to other artists) because:

  1. art is meant to be shared, it's better when it's shared
  2. rotting behind a computer screen and grinding for hours at a time won't hone your craft at even a tenth of the rate that talking to other artists will
  3. you will be more invested in your art when you have people to make it for
  4. you need to go outside and talk to people in real life and/or in ways that emphasize in some form that there is a real person that you are conversing with to not go insane
  5. in times where you wish to create something that exists beyond your scope of ability, you can pool together with your community to create something that you would struggle to make divided

Still think Communo-Capitalism is a better system than what we have now
