It's things like this that really vindicates the whole scratched liberal thing from last century. At every single opportunity, without fail, liberals betray the working masses to fascists, always "compromising" and giving them carte blanche to do what they want, and when the fascists gain power, they won't do anything because they don't like changing the status quo. All because they fear a state controlled by the workers.
