I've been riding and looking at what's outside the window and mixed with the Metro shit, it feels like a prequel to Parable of the Sower. Such a good book and proves Octavia Butler was prescient.
It's disturbing because as third spaces are closing, we're losing any place where you can really exist without being under surveillance/the threat of death.
It's funny too because I was also thinking about Midgar from the original Final Fantasy 7. The train checkpoints and the ability the elites have to remove personhood from entire communities.

I love them. I want a vegan cheese that melts well because I miss them so much. I put on chipotle mayo, mushrooms, and maybe another veggie that doesn't steal the show. And tapatio for dipping.
Also, it's fucked up that services get shitty just so you switch to another service for a higher price. Unrelated, but fuck phone service providers.
