The International Fixed Calendar would give 1 weird day between months for new years.

Whoever decided to add leap day onto June wants to watch the world burn

[–] Tja@programming.dev 18 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And makes all days afterwards get out of sync. If 29 of June is a Monday, all subsequent months start on a Tuesday.

Why not add it to the weird new years pool?

Or just keep it in February

[–] assa123@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 year ago

But adding it in February still breaks the sync of the following months :(

Time stops all the time. You just never notice because nothing happens while it's stopped.

So at least Ethiopia gets a thirteenth 'month' with only a half dozen days: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethiopian_calendar
